Well now.
In light of current events, we've decided it is important that we tell you about our next gig.
We will be playing a stripped back gig at the Horse & Groom pub on Saturday 12th July. This gig will be free to attend and it will be on a Saturday. It will also feature our good friends (who are coincidentally organising it), The Knights Project.
Why though? Why must we tell you about this gig when we forgot to tell you about the gig we played this Monday at Above Audio with Aniseed Treats? Which also happened to be free to attend?
Well now, we've had a look at the future. The fact is that in ten years time, we're going to be headlining the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury. That's it, we said it. There's going to be a whole lot of controversy. People like Alex Turner, Lars Ulrich, Jo Wiley and Emma Bunton will be asking how the hell could Emily Eavis book a band to headline that are big on light-hearted whimsy and having fun. It's not fitting in with the whole metalhead hip-hop-hippy vibe.
Despite the protests, it's going to happen, and hopefully we'll be able to deliver. By that time though, we'll be superstars, and the chances of us playing a stripped back gig at the Horse & Groom pub will be next to nil. This is your chance.
We know how it all works. We know what you need to get onto the main stage at Glastonbury. You need Facebook likes, Twitter followers, Radio 1 airplay and a similar cool look to Kasabian. It's as easy as that. It won't be long before our 'Linkin Park Hybrid Theory 1,000 Facebook Likes' gig will be consigned to happy memory.
Saturday 12th July. The Horse & Groom. 8pm. Become a part of history.
